| The SteriPEN Adventurer Opti and Solar
Charging Case Pack Water Purifier gives you the peace of mind to
drink safe on or off the grid. The Adventurer Opti has a new feature
for the SteriPEN line; in addition to destroying waterborne
contaminates, the Opti has an integrated flashlight mode as well.
The Adventurer Opti is a
light-weight ultraviolet water purifier that destroys waterborne
bacteria, viruses and protozoa (giardia) in seconds.When the battery is
fully charged it provides 60 half-liter doses. The Adventurer Opti
purifies two amounts of water, 16 ounces (0.5 liters) in 48 seconds or
32 ounces (1 liter) in 90 seconds. The optical water sensor provides a
bonus LED flashlight.
The rugged SteriPEN Solar Case clips to your backpack and charges
one double-cell CR123 rechargeable Lithium battery (7.2V) in 2-5 days or
4-6 hours with included 110V/240V wall adapter. SteriPEN Adventurer
Opti operates with one double-cell CR123 battery or two single-cell
CR123 batteries and can purify up to 8,000 liters (2,000 gallons) of
water with the 8,000 treatment UV lamp.
