The SteriPEN Adventurer Opti Handheld UV Water Purifier brings you peace of mind knowing you will have safe water to drink no matter where you travel. The Adventurer Opti , in addition to destroying waterborne contaminates, has an integrated flashlight mode as well.

This ultraviolet water purifier is light-weight and destroys viruses, protozoa (giardia) and water borne bacteria in seconds. With new batteries, this SteriPen provides 60 one half liter doses of drinking water. The opti can purify two amounts of water, 16 ounces (0.5 liters) in 48 seconds or 32 ounces (1 liter) in 90 seconds. A bonus LED flashlight is provided by the optical water sensor and isgreat backup light when camping or taking a walk at night to refill your water bottle.

The Adventurer Opti includes 2 non-rechargeable (disposable) CR123 batteries and a neoprene case with belt loop. The purifier works with containers that have a minimum opening of 1.75 inches (i.e. Nalgene wide-mouth bottles).
