Royal Berkey Stainless Steel Water Filter 3.25 Gallons is an ideal system for use with large families while traveling, during outdoor activities, at home or in an emergency. The powerful Royal Berkey system allows you to filter treated and untreated water from such sources as remote lakes, stagnant ponds, streams and water supplies in other countries, where regulations may be inferior at best. It is effectively used during a natural disaster or an unexpected emergency such as blackouts, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes, when clean water is not obtainable. The system is perfect for everyday use and a must in hostile conditions where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.

When in use, the Royal Berkey stands 23 inches in height and 9.5 inches in diameter. For transport the upper chamber rest within the lower chamber and stands only 15.25 inches in height. It is constructed of highly polished 304 stainless steel and has a storage capacity of about 3.25 gallons (12.3 liters). The filter system comes complete with either two or four Black Berkey purification elements and utilizes the most recent technological advances. Set up with two Black Berkey purification elements the system will filter up to 4 gallons (15.1 liters) per hour and can be expanded to use four purification elements to increase it's capability to filter up to 8 gallons (30.3 liters) per hour. The flow rate is calculated when the upper chamber is filled to the top and decreases as the water level declines.

The Royal Berkey is so proficient it can remove food coloring from water without removing the valuable minerals your body needs. Practically no other system is able to match this performance. It will reduce nitrites, nitrates and unhealthy minerals such as mercury and lead. Royal Berkey eliminates pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites and filters out harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, trihalomethanes, VOC, radon 222 and organic solvents.
