About The Go Berkey Kit

The Go Berkey Kit includes the Go Berkey water purification system and the Berkey Sport portable water purifier bottle. The Go Berkey has a storage capacity of approximately one quart and stands 14 inches tall (when in use) with a 4 inch diameter. For easy storage and transporting the upper chamber rests within the lower chamber, standing only 10 inches high and weighs only 2.4 pounds.

This kit is made for hiking, camping, world travel, college students and many other activities. The Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle is ideal for out on the trail and the Go Berkey system is perfect for water purification back at the lodge, campsite et cetera. The portable water purifier bottle can also be used to prime the Black Berkey Purification Element if there isn’t any water pressure available.

As with all Berkey’s water purification systems, the Go Berkey Kit is a perfect aid during an unexpected emergency. This powerful system will purify treated water and untreated raw water from stagnant ponds, streams, remote lakes and water sources in foreign countries where regulations could be substandard at best. It ideal in for use in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available and is perfect for outdoor activities.

This system extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes and removes viruses, pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely. It also reduces unhealthy heavy metals such as lead and mercury. The system is powerful enough that it can remove red food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.

The Go Berkey is constructed of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel and comes complete with a Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle, one Black Berkey Purification Element and a vinyl carry case. When equipped with one Black Berkey purification element this Berkey will purify up to a gallon of water an hour.

Note: Flow rate is calculated with the upper chamber filled to top. The flow rate decreases as water level declines.
