British Berkefeld Ceramic Water Filter 2.25 Gallon is a must for when you find yourself in harsh surroundings where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be accessible. This versatile system is ideal for use at home by small to medium sized families while traveling, during outdoor activities or in an unexpected emergency. The powerful British Berkefeld will filter treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Portability and the ability to filter water in an emergency or remote areas without the need of electricity or water pressure are British Berkefeld trade mark qualities.

The system is constructed of highly polished stainless steel and comes complete with four 7 inch ceramic Super Sterasyl Filtration elements, that do not need to be primed. This makes them ideal for use when there isn't any power or water pressure. This system has a storage capacity of about 2.25 gallons and when in use it stands 19.25 inches in height with a diameter of 8.5 inches. The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 13 inches in height. British Berkefeld Ceramic Water Filter system will filter 12 to 15 gallons per day. The flow rate is calculated when the upper chamber is filled to the top and decreases as the water level declines.

The British Berkefeld system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites and reduces harmful chemicals such as VOCs, herbicides, and pesticides without removing the valuable minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system is able to duplicate this performance.
